We welcome Ms. Diana Gomez, P.E., Central California Regional Director for the California High-Speed Rail Authority, who will provide an update on the High-Speed Rail Program and its many facets, schedule and upcoming opportunities for consultants.
Ms. Gomez has nearly 25 years in the transportation industry, garnering a wealth of experience in the technical, managerial and communication areas. Prior to joining the Rail Authority, she most recently served as Deputy Director of Operations for Caltrans District 7, which covers Los Angeles and Ventura Counties in Southern California.
Diana earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Fresno, where she is currently a board member of the Alumni Association and serves on the Advisory Board for the School of Engineering at CSU Fresno. Diana has been a Registered Electrical Engineer since 1997 and obtained her Project Management Professional (PMP) Credential in 2005. She has been recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics by Hispanic Business and the Top 100 in the technical field by Hispanic Engineer and Information Technology Magazine.
