Please plan to join the Southbay Engineers Club this Friday, May 6th for a fascinating discussion about the redevelopment of the former Naval Station Treasure Island and associated geotechnical constraints. The proposed development will provide a new, high-density, mixed-use community with a variety of housing types, a retail core, open space and recreation opportunities, on-site infrastructure, and public and community facilities and services.
Our Presenter Stefanos Papadopulos, GE, is an associate with ENGEO and project manager on the Treasure Island and Hunters Point Naval Shipyard redevelopment projects. He has extensive experience with a broad range of concentrations within the geotechnical field involving project management and oversight of large-scale projects for public works, residential, commercial and mixed use developments in urban settings.
We will also announce this year’s recipients of the Southbay Engineers Club Scholarships!
